Terms of Service

Article 1 — Applicability

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the service "V-Mentor" ("Service") operated by えなが("Operator"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2 — Service Overview

The Service is a web application that uses AI (Claude API) to analyze and provide feedback on character profiles (lore) and streaming plan drafts submitted by VTubers and live streamers.

• ▸Free plan: up to 3 reviews per day (tracked by IP address)
• ▸Beta period: full Pro features available to invited testers at no charge
• ▸After official launch: paid plans will be available

Article 3 — Registration & Account Termination

The free plan does not require account registration. Participation in the closed beta is completed by submitting an application through the designated form.

To withdraw from the Service (including beta tester status), please contact us via X (Twitter) DM or the email address used during registration. We will process your request promptly. Please note that usage logs associated with your IP address may be retained for a certain period after withdrawal.

Article 4 — Prohibited Conduct

You must not engage in any of the following while using the Service:

• ✕Any act that violates laws or public order and morals
• ✕Any act related to criminal activity
• ✕Any act that damages or disrupts the Service's servers or networks
• ✕Intentional circumvention of rate limits (e.g., IP address spoofing or rotation)
• ✕Commercial use of information obtained through the Service without the Operator's permission
• ✕Inputting or transmitting another user's or third party's personal information
• ✕Any act that causes harm or damage to the Operator, other users, or third parties
• ✕Any act that may interfere with the operation of the Service
• ✕Any other act deemed inappropriate by the Operator

Article 5 — Disclaimer Regarding AI Output

AI review results provided by the Service are generated by Anthropic's Claude API for reference purposes only. Please be aware of the following:

• ⚠The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI output.
• ⚠Suggestions and analyses contained in AI output do not guarantee actual streaming results.
• ⚠You are solely responsible for all decisions regarding whether to adopt or publish a streaming plan.
• ⚠The Operator accepts no liability for any problems or damages caused by reliance on AI output.
• ⚠AI output may potentially infringe the copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of third parties. Please review carefully before use.

Article 6 — Voice Input Feature

The voice input feature uses the browser's Web Speech API. Voice data is never sent to or stored on our servers; all speech-to-text processing occurs on your device. Please note that, depending on Web Speech API specifications, your browser vendor (e.g., Google) may process voice data on their servers. Refer to your browser's privacy policy for details.

Article 7 — Changes, Suspension, and Termination of Service

The Operator may change the content of the Service, or suspend or terminate it, without prior notice to users. The Operator accepts no liability for any damages arising from such changes.

Features, pricing, and terms of use may change during the transition from beta to the official release.

Article 8 — Personal Information

Information collected by the Service is managed in accordance with our separately published Privacy Policy. Key handling practices include:

• ▸IP address: collected for rate-limit management and stored in the Supabase database
• ▸Character profile: stored in your browser's localStorage only; sent to the server when a review is submitted. The liver name is stored in the DB alongside review history (concept, lore, etc. are not stored)
• ▸Review results: stored in the DB linked to your IP address (to provide review history)
• ▸Application form data: collected via Google Forms (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)

Article 9 — Limitation of Liability

The Operator does not warrant, and accepts no liability for damages arising from, the following:

• ▸That the Service is fit for any particular purpose of the user
• ▸That the Service will be available continuously and without interruption
• ▸The accuracy or completeness of information provided through the Service
• ▸Unauthorized access to the Service by third parties

Article 10 — Changes to These Terms

The Operator may amend these Terms at any time without prior notice to users. Amended Terms take effect upon publication on this page. Continued use of the Service after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 11 — Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over the Operator's place of residence.
